Management Team
The founders of K.R.I. Capital Partners have a combined 40 years of
experience in the real estate, private equity and lending arenas where
they have been involved in transactions valued at more than $2 billion.
In addition, they have a combined 30 years of hands-on property
ownership and management experience. They utilize this experience to
seek out superior investment projects, to analyze potential transactions
from a practical perspective, and to develop a comprehensive, strategic
plan for each project.

Kenneth A. Gee
Co-Managing Partner
Mr. Gee is the co-founder and co-managing partner of K.R.I. Capital
Partners. He has more than 15 years of significant real estate,
banking, private equity transaction and principal investing
experience. Throughout his career, he has been involved in
transactions valued in excess of $1 billion, much of which has
included the acquisition, management and financing of various
multi-family real estate projects as well as playing a significant
role as a member of due diligence and transaction structure planning
teams for several private equity firms specializing in the small and
middle markets.
Prior to forming K.R.I. Capital Partners, Mr. Gee was a tax manager
with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he focused his practice on state and
local tax planning, merger and acquisition due diligence and
transaction structure planning for private equity and middle market
companies. Some of his major clients included The Riverside Company,
Key Equity Capital Partners, Blue Point Capital, Linsalata Capital
Partners, The Zaremba Group, Charter One Bank and Applied Industrial
Technologies, Inc.
Prior to his career at Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Gee spent several
years at National City Bank where he served as commercial loan
officer, credit analyst, branch manager, and mortgage loan originator
during his career with the bank.
Unrelated to his real estate experience, Mr. Gee also owned and
operated several certified Cessna Pilot Centers in the Northeast Ohio
area. These Cessna Pilot Centers operated an FAA approved professional
pilot school and specialized in the sale of new and pre-owned
aircraft.
Mr. Gee is a licensed Ohio Certified Public Accountant. He received
his master's degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead
School of Management and his B.B.A. from the University of Toledo. He
is a member of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association, Bay Area
Apartment Association, Shaker Square Area Development Corporation,
Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.

Gary L. Lieberman, Esq
Co-Managing Partner
Mr. Lieberman is the co-founder, general counsel and co-managing
partner of K.R.I. Capital Partners. He has more than 25 years of
significant real estate, management, financial and principal investing
experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Lieberman has been involved in
acquisition, sale, financing and leasing transactions totaling more than
$1 billion. He has represented and counseled numerous mortgage
companies, real estate owners, developers, real estate brokers and
management companies. In addition, Mr. Lieberman has served as a
partner, mentor and advisor to many of the leading real estate owners and
managers in northeast Ohio. Mr. Lieberman has always participated as an
active partner in all of his real estate endeavors.
Mr. Lieberman was the founder and chief executive of a warehouse
lending corporation. This company provided warehouse lines of credit and
lending services to residential developers and mortgage companies
throughout the United States. Concurrently, Mr. Lieberman also owned a
real estate title agency which administered real estate transactions and
closings valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
Early in his career, Mr. Lieberman served as an operational and
financial auditor for Sears, Roebuck & Company, headquartered in
Chicago. He has also served as a financial analyst for Brooks
Technology, Inc., a division of Premier Industrial Corporation, a NYSE
company. As a young attorney, Mr. Lieberman also worked with a "big
eight" CPA firm.
Mr. Lieberman has been admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio
since 1981. In addition to being admitted to practice law in the state
of Ohio, he is also admitted to practice law in Federal Court in the
Northern District of Ohio, and in the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Lieberman is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a
B.S. degree in business administration with a concentration in
accounting. He holds a law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of
Law. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Bar
Association and is a member and serves on the Board of Advisors to the
Northeast Ohio Apartment Association.

Melody Thomas
Director of Property Management
Ms. Thomas is the director of property management for K.R.I. Capital
Partners. She is responsible for the oversight of all day-to-day
property management activities and on-site personnel. She has over 6
years of hands-on experience overseeing and executing both asset
repositioning and long term operating strategies with K.R.I. as well as
with previous property management firms. During her property management
career, Ms. Thomas has been responsible for managing and overseeing
properties ranging from 20 units to more than 240 units in size.
Prior to beginning her real estate property management career, Ms.
Thomas spent 10 years in the retail industry where she served as store
manager for several well known retail store chains. Ms. Thomas attended
Cleveland State University.

Angela Craven
Property Leasing
Ms. Craven is responsible for all leasing activities for K.R.I.
Capital Partners. She has earned the Certified Leasing Professional
designation and has more than 4 years experience in property leasing at
both stabilized properties and at properties undergoing significant
repositioning in Ohio and Georgia. Prior to joining K.R.I. she gained
significant marketing and sales experience in the retail industry where
she served as both assistant manager and store manager at several retail
store chains. |
